LUVERIS

 What is the medicine for

LUVERIS is used for the controlled stimulation of ovaries to develop more follicles in women undergoing assisted reproductive methods. In other words, it stimulates the ovaries to form and grow follicles.

How to store the medicine

Do not store at temperatures above 25 °C. Store the product in the original packaging in order to protect it from light. Protect from frost.

How to take the medicine

Medicines must always be taken as directed by the doctor. Stimulation is performed in the evening. Choose the time yourself - we recommend a time between 6 pm and 7 pm. Stimulation must be performed at the same time every day. Start using on the second or third day of the menstrual cycle. Stimulation is performed for a period of 10 to 15 days.  The duration of stimulation is tailored to the response of each client.

Always wash your hands before using the medicine.

You will receive one ampoule of solvent and one ampoule of active ingredient in powder form, which must be mixed together using a syringe and a large needle.

Open both ampoules. Draw the liquid into the syringe using the large (pink) needle. Insert the liquid into the ampoule with the powder. Make sure the powder is completely dissolved. Draw all the medicine into the syringe. Move the plunger to expel air from the syringe. Use the small (brown) needle for injection.

For the injection, choose an area around the navel in the lower abdomen and change the site of application every day. Use a disinfectant pad at the chosen area. The drug should be administered subcutaneously. Therefore the injection should be performed at an angle of 90° while holding the subcutaneous tissue. Insert the whole needle into the subcutaneous tissue and slide the plunger back to check whether you are in a vein. If your syringe becomes stained with blood, withdraw the injection and use a different one. If all is well, push the plunger of the syringe to inject the medicine. Dispose of the used syringe and needle in a container.

Side effects

Side effects are not common with this medicine. You may experience headaches, acne or fatigue or reactions at the injection site (e.g. pain, redness at the injection site, haematoma (bruising), and swelling).
